AI in Control Rooms: Innovations & Insights

The November 2025 forum focuses on exploring the impact and future applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in water industry control rooms. The agenda includes discussions on different types of AI technologies, current strategies and examples of their use, and insights from other industries. Participants will engage in breakout sessions to identify key priorities and potential uses of AI to drive business value. Additionally, there will be opportunities for interested individuals to discuss L2C and address specific challenges facing control rooms in wastewater management.

• Main Entrance: Use the entrance on Lingley Green Avenue.

• Restricted Access: The entrance via Omega Boulevard is for employees only and requires pre-registered vehicle access.

• Parking is available at multiple United Utilities buildings on the business park, including Haweswater House, Windermere, Ullswater, Thirlmere, and Grasmere.

• Event Location: The event will be held at Haweswater House, which has the largest carpark on-site.

• If parking is full at Haweswater House, attendees can use other listed carparks and walk over (only a few minutes away).

• 24-hour security is available at the main entrance to assist with directions.
