We're reaching out to inform you of potential travel disruptions that may affect those planning to use train services to reach Coventry for the May forum events. On Monday 22 April 2024, strike action was announced by the ASLEF Union impacting various train operators on specific dates.
Affected Dates and Operators:
Tuesday 7 May 2024:Â c2c, Gatwick Express, Greater Anglia (including Stansted Express), Great Northern, Southeastern, Southern, South Western Railway (including Island Line), and Thameslink.
Wednesday 8 May 2024:Â Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express, London Northwestern Railway, and West Midlands Railway.
Thursday 9 May 2024:Â LNER, Northern, and TransPennine Express.
Potential Impact:
Full strike action on the specified dates may lead to limited or no services across the networks operated by the affected train companies. Additionally, services may be disrupted, and start times could be delayed on the day immediately following a full strike day.
